I struggle with that nag/inform/beg/plead dynamic all the time. How much is too much? Especially because I'm not a manager, I'm just a reporter. But change is happening, albeit slowly. I bet if the fear of God were put into them (like rumors of a layoff) they'd adapt more quickly (bad joke sorry). Finding a balance is hard.
